I purchased a 2020 VW GTI in August of 2021. It had 7,000 miles on it. November 2021 the clutch and flywheel had to be replaced. It had 10,000 miles on it. I have been driving a manual transmission my entire life and know how to use a clutch. The dealership said it was going to cost $4000.00 dollars. Now mind you, this car only has 10;000 miles on it. What a load of ***
I have waited a long time to purchase this car. I love this car and am so proud to own it. Well, Im not done yet. Now, 9 months later and 10,000 miles later, (the car now only has 20,000 miles n it). The clutch goes out again. This clutch was purchased from VW. How is this ok? How can VW sleep at night? My beautiful little car is in the shop again!! I have owned a manual Mazda glacier, Mazda 323, Mazda 3, Honda Civic is and a 2013 vw gti, and didnt replace any of these clutches until at least 80,000 miles.
But, your organization is saying it is my fault that Im on my 3rd clutch with only 20,000 miles on the vehicle.
You people should be ashamed of yourselves. I want, deserve and demand a resolution that is satisfactory.

Verified ReviewerUnable to speak to a representative .
I try calling everyday and the recording says due to high calling volume to call back later. the recording than disconnects.
This has been going on for quite sometime. I try to pay my bill online. It says I have the wrong password which i don't and I am unable to reset it.
The message says to contact customer service. Try to do that and I keep getting hung up on.

3 foot molding cost is $600.
In this winters severe weather the snow caught the right front fender wheel well molding and half of it was lost. The cost to replace it is $569 plus labor.
My body shop noted a very similar molding in a Honda CRV costs $45. VW is taking unfair advantage of the consumer. My vehicle is a 2013 VW Touareg Sport. I love my car and we have owned VW or Audis for 35 years.
If this is how VW gouges me on replacement parts, I will no longer be a consumer. I am a senior and with tax and labor the overall cost with the dealer will be well over $700 for a 3 ft piece of plastic m9lding.
I will publicize my frustration to consumer advocates if they do not offer a reasonable cost for this $40 part. Call me outraged!!!!
